McNay receives $5 million bequest
When Nancy Blackburn Hamon died in July, she left the McNay Art Museum "one of the greatest gifts you can get as a museum director," said William J. Chiego.
The McNay's director announced Thursday that the museum has received Hamon's bequest of $5 million, placed in an endowment for operations of the Jane & Arthur Stieren Center for Exhibitions, where "Andy Warhol: Fame and Misfortune" is on view. (read more).
