One-way on Hildebrand a test for next 18 months

For Troy Jessee, the next 18 months are going to be “sort of a hassle.”

The 52-year-old lives in Monte Vista but works in the Alamo Heights area. This weekend, he got his first taste of what life will be like during the city's 18-month drainage project that, starting today, makes Hildebrand Avenue a one-way street between the San Antonio River and North New Braunfels Avenue to the east.
