William Tilton McCollough
1925-2010William Tilton McCollough, beloved husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10.
He was borne Nov. 1, 1925, in Birmingham, Alabama to Clyde Charles McCollough Sr. and Grace Day McCollough, who preceded him in death.
His parents relocated to San Antonio due to his mother's ill health.
Bill began work at an early age, throwing newspapers from his bicycle each morning before school. He graduated from Alamo Heights High School in 1943 and proudly served in the United States Merchant Marines from 1943 to 1947.
