Special AH City Council Meeting to Review Facility Design Services (video)

Written by Bill Kiel on .

A special meeting of the Alamo Heights City Council was held on Wednesday, the 8th of February, 2012 at 8:30  AM to review staff evaluations of Facility Design Services RFQs and to determine which firms will be invited for personal interviews.

The City accepted submittals from twenty one architectural firms but only five of those can be interviewed as dictated by State law. The council did not discussed the staff recommendations but spent their time giving input for a process and criteria to be used for selecting the five finalists.

City Manager Mark Brown will give a staff report at next week’s regular Council meeting recommending a final process and selection criteria based on input from the special meeting.

The City will receive $6.3 million from a bond later this month.
