I would imagine that most individuals take a deep breath when the "political season" begins. When a national election kicks into high gear, our phones begin to ring with pollsters and automated, robotic messages awaiting our answer.
Along with that, radio and television airwaves are inundated with politicians' speeches, ideas, distortions of truth and, unfortunately, a bit of mud slinging as well. (read more).
