The entire Carousel Court Retail Center at Nacogdoches and North New Braunfels is closed for the week.
BurgerFi at Nacogdoches and North New Braunfels will be closed for 6 months for repairs due to Sunday's storms.
The Transportation & Capital Improvements Department (TCI) and Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) began street-clearing activities around 3 a.m. These crews, with the assistance of Parks & Recreation Department forestry crews, are removing debris from major streets and front yards of residential properties to provide safe access. Residents are invited to add to debris piles along the edge of the roadway within the affected areas through Friday, March 3 and City crews will return to remove debris throughout the week. Additionally, the Bitters Brush Recycling Center, 1800 Wurzbach Parkway, will be open at no charge to affected residents. Residents can dial 3-1-1 to reportweather-related concerns and other non-emergency service requests.
City damage assessment teams will continue to identify damaged structures and coordinate with the Department of Human Services as needed. The American Red Cross has set up a temporary shelter at Blessed Sacrament School.

The San Antonio Fire Department reminds San Antonio residents and visitors to "Turn Around, Don't Drown.” A vehicle may stall out in just a few inches of water and a foot or two of water is enough to float a 3,000-pound car. Driving around a barricade when there is water on the road carries a maximum penalty of $2,000 and 180 days in jail, and if a rescue is required, everyone in the vehicle may be charged a fee of $640.
Police and Public Works personnel will continue to monitor the roadway conditions in the Olmos Basin area and will re-open roadways as soon as water levels have receded sufficiently to remove mud and debris.
