Although the weather station at Terrell Hills' new City Hall complex was installed April 9, the system endured its first major test over the Memorial Day weekend.

The system— installed by the fire chief and assistant fire chief — cost the city about $800 and recently was updated. (read more).

Police: Man exposed self to girl, 14

SAN ANTONIO - Police in Terrell Hills say they're searching for a flasher.

Police say the man believed to be in his 30s walked up to a 14-year-old girl on Wednesday morning at Harry Wurzbach and Garraty.

He asked if she needed a ride and when she said no, police said the man started performing a lewd act in front of her. (read more).

New City Hall gets a grand opening

Dozens of Terrell Hills residents and visitors got to finally pass through the city's new 14,850-square-foot municipal complex March 27.

That's when city leaders, joined by city staff, contract consultants and special dignitaries, cut a ribbon to ceremonially open a larger, modernized City Hall facility at 5100 N. New Braunfels Ave. (read more).

While Scates Park improvements are due to kick off late this summer, a community garden in the San Antonio neighborhood of Terrell Heights – near Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills – is literally and figuratively in full bloom.

According to Judy Temple, who has carried out varying roles with Terrell Heights Neighborhood Association (THNA), she and a few other residents first pitched the community garden idea at the association’s annual meeting last September, then generated a list of 22 interested neighbors. (read more).
