Epic private party closing large part of downtown

A Terrell Hills Family is hosting the bash, which includes a guest list of 1,200 people, exotic animals, a ferris wheel and other entertainment.

The city of Terrell Hills has wrapped up another fiscal year and is operating with a new budget. Even so, Mayor Anne Ballantyne and city officials see this as a perfect time to have an enhanced long-term strategy, especially when it comes to infrastructure improvements. No urban coyote invasion just yet

Recent reports seem to indicate an influx of coyotes in Terrell Hills, but officials say there's no cause for alarm.

Outgoing Terrell Hills mayor honored

After 12 years as mayor of Terrell Hills, Brad Camp swore in his successor, Councilwoman Anne Ballantyne, at the May 19 Terrell Hills City Council meeting.

During his 23 years of service to the city, Camp oversaw the recent renovation of City Hall along with upgrades to city infrastructure. (read more).

Terrell Heights apartment complex opens its doors

A priest's blessing, a ribbon-cutting and a release of balloons May 6 marked the formal opening of 1111 Austin Highway, a 278-unit, four-story apartment complex.

The 3N Group began construction on the Terrell Heights mixed-use development in November 2013. It's the first new multifamily project to open in the neighborhood in years. (read more).
