The RFQ's are being opened at a public meeting which I think is Feb 8 at 8:30 am. There are about 25 applicants. Somebody should check.
Also the bond came in very low, which is good news. That was a public meeting too.

I don't think they'll make a decision on the architect for a couple of weeks. Then they'll have to bring it to council for approval. The contractor will probably be selected later.

I suspect they are giving approval to sell a bond for $6.3 million. Even though that amount is not needed immediately it makes sense to lock in these historically low bond rates while our financial strength is high.

All they are doing is authorizing the bonds - Interest will not be paid until the bonds are actually sold.

AH doesn't have a great track record in court and this is just another black eye. This trial was a waste of taxpayer money considering how lopsided it came out.
