Just return from vacation last night, so I am playing catch up. Sorry to have missed the parade - will be next year. Great pics, glad the dogs showed up. Hammonds are great people. Thanks to the new group for helping out with this AH tradition. Promise to be there next year with wife, kids and dogs. Thanks again for posting the pics.

That's May O'Neal with her neighbor Beans Lovell, my dog. I read your message to Beans and he was delighted. He is 17 now and could use a little excitement. I don't think his father ever told him he was neutered, would you mind if he came over anyway?

Can anyone tell me who the sweet lady in the first picture may be. Her dog is beautiful. I was wondering if she allows her dog to be bred. Nice picture.

I failed to mention that I think the photo of Hall and Pat Hammond is priceless. A great tribute to a very giving AH couple.

I thought for sure that the guys who campaigned at the Pooch parade would show up at the 4th parade but NO. I think they were afraid to be seen by all the dog owners who attended and were upset about the demise of the dog park.

Great parade and community event. Thank you to the Hammonds and CAAH! This is what COMMUNITY is all about. My family and I really enjoyed everything. We were watchers this year, but will be participants next year. The boys already have ideas for their wagon. Thank you again to all who made this possible.

This is what is best about Alamo Heights. Neighbors greeting neighbors and being genuinely friendly. No divisions and no negativity.
