A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Alamo Heights, Texas will be held on Monday, February 8, 2010, in the Council Chambers, 6120 Broadway at 5:30 p.m. to consider and act upon any lawful subjects which may come before it.
1. Approval of Minutes of the January 25, 2010 City Council Meeting
2. City Manager’s Report
a. Briefing on the implementation of 25 mph speed limit on certain residential streets – Rick Pruitt, Police Chief b. Community Interest – Brian Chandler, Community Development Director 1. Community Garden 2. Design Workshop on the Dog Park c. Alamo Heights Night

4. An Ordinance Ordering a General Election in the City of Alamo Heights, Texas, to be held on the 8th Day of May, 2010, for the Election of Three Council members for Places Three (3), Four (4) and Five (5); Providing the Details Therefore and Providing for a Proclamation and Notice of Such General Election and designating Jacquelyn F. Callanen, Bexar County Elections Administrator, as the Election Administrator to Conduct Said Election – Jennifer Reyna, City Secretary (Staff recommends approval)
Una ordenanza ordenando una elección que se llevará a cabo el sabado, 8 de mayo 2010, con el propósito de elegir a tres concejales: Concejal Lugar Tres, Concejal Lugar Cuatro, y Concejal Lugar Cinco; en facilitar la información y por lo tanto se establece una proclamación y notificación de dicha elección general y la designación de Jacquelyn F. Callanen, Administrador de Elecciónes del Condado de Bexar, como la funcionaria de elecciónes (Personal recomienda que se apruebe)

The City Council reserves the right to retire to closed session whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Government Code, Subchapter D, Sections 551.071 et. seq., including, but not limited to consultation with attorney, real property, prospective gifts, personnel matters, exclusion of witnesses, security devices and economic development matters.
