PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETINGA regular City Council meeting will be held on Monday, September 26, 2011, in the Council Chambers, 6120 Broadway at 5:30 p.m. to consider and act upon any lawful subjects which may come before it. 1. Approval of Minutes of the September 12, 2011 City Council Meeting 2. Announcements a. Community Meetings in October b. Siclovia, October 2, 2011 c. National Night Out, October 4, 2011 d. Residential Design Standards (RDS) Committee, Boards and Commission Workshop, October 12, 2011 3. Citizens to be heard concerning items not listed on the agenda (3-minute limit) Items for Individual Consideration 4. Architectural Review Board Case No. 394F, request of Richard Garison, Shelly Home Company, for the compatibility review of the proposed replacement structure located at 235 E. Oakview Place under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010) in order to construct a two-story replacement structure. City Council approved the demolition permit on January 28, 2008, and the structure was removed in 2008 – Brian Chandler, Planning and Development Services Director 5. Architectural Review Board Case No. 399F, request of John Grable, FAIA, owner, for the significance review of the existing structure located at 306 Kampmann Avenue under Demolition Review Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010) in order to demolish 100% of the existing main structure. There is no replacement structure proposed at this time – Brian Chandler, Planning and Development Services Director 6. Update on City Hall renovation, discussion with City Council regarding renovation versus new construction and possible decision by City Council on renovation or new construction – Mark Browne, City Manager 7. Budget and Tax Ordinances to be considered in the following order: a. FY 2011-2012 Operating Budget b. 2011 Ad Valorem Tax Rate - Cynthia Barr, Finance Director 8. A Resolution adopting a Fund Balance Reporting Policy – Cynthia Barr, Finance Director The City Council reserves the right to retire to closed session whenever it is considered necessary and legally justified under the Texas Government Code, Subchapter D, Sections 551.071 et. seq., including, but not limited to consultation with attorney, real property, prospective gifts, personnel matters, exclusion of witnesses, security devices and economic development matters. |
