Olmos Park and Terrell Hills don't have pools - why should Alamo heights be in that business.

Somebody remind contending that the PAC 3 voted for the contract and it went through the committee process. McGlone had nothing to do with it. Bet Shaw is happy he invested so much money in the pool facilitates only to see it slammed by people who don't use it anyway.
We have belonged to the pool for years and it is a safe place to let the kids blow off steam and cheaper than having a pool of our own.

Contender, research your comments. Alamo Heights lost big time money and had huge liability running the pool. No way do I want that back on the city coffers. So now you want the city to spend money on a pool but not allow a free dogpark?

Oh that right, you are not really wanting a public pool, you just are looking for another avenue to attack the city manager.

Alamo Heights should have a public swimming pool. The private pool discriminates against families that cannot afford the expense of the yearly membership. For how long did McGlone renew and execute a sublease with Rick Shaw? With whom did Ann McGlone discuss this?
