Proposed Scope, Process and Time Line
City Council has directed staff to undertake a Comprehensive Plan which will become the community's official policy guide for physical improvement and development. In June of 2008 the City created a Department of Community Development to manage, create and implement the Plan. (read more - pdf).

Then the trucks drove over the water lines and the toilets would no

$48,000 for the design and replacement of a portion of sewer line on
East Castano Avenue – the first project identified in the city’s $7.5
million capital improvements project – to ensure a longer life for the

Monte Vista, Alamo Heights, Inwood, Deerfield and Sonterra will see a
flood of homes for sale in the next six months. That will increase
price pressures at a time when San Antonio's home prices still are
running counter to the national trend. So far this year, local home
values are averaging 2 percent growth, according to the San Antonio

Fort Sam Houston slated to receive nearly $30 million in additional funding
San Antonio's congressional delegation announced that Fort Sam Houston
will receive $28 million as part of an $863 million bipartisan bill
passed by the U.S. House of Representatives this week in support of
