TERRELL HILLS -- Early morning joggers and walkers were the first to see the damage caused by a vandal -- or vandals -- in the Terrell Hills neighborhood.
Terrell Hills police said about 16 vehicles had windows shot out sometime between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Monday.
Mark Trevino, who lives on Wiltshire Avenue, didn’t even know he was hit until he talked to police. (read more).

Terrell Hills approves design contract for streets, City Hall upgrade
City Council on March 14 approved a $568,000 contract for engineering firm Freese and Nichols to begin designing millions of dollars of road work around the city. (read more).
Terrell Hills chooses firms to fix streets, expand City Hall
City Council voted unanimously in a special Feb. 24 meeting, authorizing City Manager Mark Browne to begin contract negotiations with Freese and Nichols and G.W. Mitchell Construction. Council is expected to vote on the contracts later this month. (read more).
Pit Bull at large in Terrell Hills
The dog resides on Lyman Dr. but manages to get out and roam free. The dog appears vicious, snarling, snorting and charging at people, chasing cats and dogs. The Terrell Hills police said there is nothing they can do until he bites someone, so please be aware!!
The dog was seen Sunday, Feb 20, 2011, at the public park at Seford and Crestwood. He charged at me, my daughter, and a family of four including two very small children. By a miracle no-one was attacked. Thank you.

Improvements to local roads and city offices in Terrell Hills are on track to begin later this year as a voter-approved, $8 million bond package moves forward.
Meanwhile other street-paving projects are finished, and the city's crime rate is down.
City leaders addressed those topics at the Jan. 10 City Council meeting. Council voted unanimously to sell the bond all at once rather than splitting it. Mayor J. Brad Camp worried that a split would force the city to raise the property tax rate on residents. (read more).
